Additional ACS Units

These courses are add-on units that, on successful completion, qualify the candidate to work on specialist gas appliances.

ACS Unit Training & Assessment CEN1 Installation, Commissioning, Service and Repair of all types of central heating appliances. Excludes unvented hot water systems above 55 litres capacity. HTR1 Installation, Commissioning, Service and Repair of gas fires & wall heaters. CKR1 Installation, Commissioning, Service and Repair of all types of domestic cooking appliances except cooking ranges such as Aga or Rayburn. WAT1 Installation, Commissioning, Service and Repair of all types of instantaneous and storage hot water systems. DAH1 Installation, Commissioning, Service and Repair of gas-fired air heaters. LAU1 Installation, Commissioning, Service and Repair of gas fired laundry appliances. MET1 Installation, Commissioning and Decommissioning of domestic gas meter installations. CONGLP1 Conversion from natural gas to LPG.

Course Pre-requisites   Successful completion of CCN1.   Training courses are designed specifically for the Category of candidate to match their experience and to bring them up to assessment level. Training is held at our premises and due to the nature of the equipment used during training, cannot be delivered offsite or online although our candidates can access the latest set of training notes online from the date they book in and for the duration of their qualification.   Length of Qualification - 5 Years
